Islesboro police beat
The Islesboro Police Department reported the following activity for June 8 through June 21, 2015. An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt.
June 8:
· Public Safety Director Fred Porter conducted a bail check on Main Road; no violations.
· Porter received a found item; the lost property was retrieved by the owner.
June 9:
· Porter responded to a 911 disconnect; upon further investigation the call was found to be a mis-dial and all residents were fine.
June 10:
· Porter conducted a detail radar on Reeby Road; no violations.
· Porter conducted a property check on Wood Lane; property secure.
June 12:
· Officer Matthew Nadeau conducted a radar detail on Main Road; no violations.
· Nadeau conducted business checks on Airport Road and Alumni Drive; all properties found to be secure.
· Nadeau responded to a suspicious person complaint on Main Road; under investigation.
June 13:
Officer Nickolas Von Husen conducted business checks on Main Road, Ferry Road and Alumni Drive; all properties found to be secure
June 15:
· Public Safety Director Fred Porter received a report of a theft on Church Turn Road; the incident is under investigation.
· Porter received a report of criminal mischief on Main Road; under investigation.
June 17:
· Porter received a report of a shellfish violation on Main Road; No violations (worm diggers).
June 18:
· Porter received a report of criminal trespassing on Point Comfort Road; under investigation.
June 20:
· Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road; four violations cited.
· Porter received a suspicious activity complaint on West Bay Road; upon further investigation the complaint was deemed unfounded.
June 21:
· Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road; five violations cited.
· Porter responded to an agency assist with Islesboro EMS
