MANCHESTER — The Maine State Golf Association hosted the 2020 Maine Women’s Amateur Championship at Augusta Country Club from Monday, July 20 to Wednesday, July 22. 

The field was comprised of 90 players representing 32 different golf clubs from around Maine, including Rockland sisters Sue Wootton and Nancy Carlson representing the Rockland Golf Club. 

There were 90 players competing over 54 holes of stroke play. The course was played as a par 73 and measures around 5,300 yards for the championship.
