Join the Carver Memorial Library on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 1:30 p.m., as Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers presents "Everybody Loves Pirates". This show will be held at Union Hall, the Searsport Town Office, on the second floor, 1 Union St., in Searsport.

Eight-year-old Lucy and her goofy pal Little Chucky are searching for buried treasure, but a gang of bumbling pirates keeps getting in the way. The kids get some help from their new ocean-dwelling friends, including enthusiastic superhero Lobster Boy, his reluctant sidekick Crabby, and an overgrown sea monkey.

“Everybody Loves Pirates” features 15 hand-crafted mouth and rod puppets, and an eight-foot paper-mache pirate ship.

The recommended age for this show is four and up, according to the Library, in a news release.

Doors open at 1 p.m.

After the show, join Carver Memorial staff down the street at the library for free ice cream, games, and crafts.
