Friends of Midcoast Maine announces new board members
ROCKLAND — Friends of Midcoast Maine will elect five midcoast residents to serve on the Board of Trustees during the organization's annual meeting Oct. 11. FMM describes the five people as representing a wide range of professions and interests, and all possession a strong commitment to building healthy communities.
The five nominees are Jan Anderson of Belfast, Fred Lilly of Bremen, Misty Gorski of Bowdoin, JoAnn Myers of Waldoboro, and Betsy Saltonstall of
Rockport.
Jan Anderson is a co-owner of Coastal Farms and Food Processing in Belfast. Fred Lilly is a design builder, lives in Bremen and has worked for the
Knickerbocker Group as a construction manager. Misty Gorski is the town planner in Wiscasset and lives in Bowdoin. JoAnn Myers is owner of Beau
Chemin Preservation Farm and lives in Waldoboro. Betsy Saltonstall has served in various community capacities, including on the school board and
comprehensive planning committee in Rockport and she currently works for the Pen Bay Healthcare community in its capital campaign.
All FMM members are eligible to vote at the Oct. 11 annual meeting at 5:30 p.m in Rockland at the Breakwater Marketplace. To
