In keeping with its April theme of Reading by the Sea, the Coastal Children’s Museum is sponsoring their first Read-a-Thon this coming month.

It’s easy to join, according to the Museum, in a news release. Families are encouraged to download the Reading Log by clicking on the link on their website: coastalchildrensmuseum.org or Facebook page. The reading log download will be available by Friday March 26. Also beginning on that day, a favorite book will be posted daily on their website and Facebook pages.

Reading Logs may be turned in electronically or dropped off at the Coastal Children’s Museum door at 75 Mechanic Street, in Rockland, by May 1.

Each participant will receive a prize and the top readers in each age group (2 to 9 years) will receive a grand prize – a gift certificate donated by Sherman's Book Store.
