Belfast Police beat: drug possession, speeding, theft

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Nov. 19-28. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Nov. 19

    Craig Sullivan, 29, of Belfast, was arrested for failure to register or update information and violating conditions of release on Macleod Lane.  

    Nov. 22

    A Rockland juvenile was issued a summons for speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 141.

    Nov. 25

    Dennis Vaughn, 62, of Belfast, was issued a summons for providing evidence of insurance that was not in effect on Starrett Drive, stemming from an incident Oct. 26.

    Stephen Frapper Jr., 32, of Burnham, was arrested for unlawful possession of a schedule W drug and operating after suspension. Frapper Jr. was also issued summonses for speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 1, and sale/use of drug paraphernalia. 

    Nov. 26

    Darren Moulton, 53, of Belfast, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Ryan Road.

    Nov. 28

    Gloria A. Warren, 47, of Searsport, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Searsport Avenue.
