Would you like a snuggly somebody to read to this summer? Starting Monday, June 22, at 2:30 p.m., youth ages 0 -18 are invited to visit the Rockland Public Library to "adopt" a new stuffie to keep. While supplies last, staff will be handing out fuzzy friends with adoption certificates to celebrate this year's Summer Reading program.

 

"While you are here, pick up the Summer Reading registration sheet and log, to kick off this year's Summer Reading Program," said RPL, in a news release. "You do not need a library card to adopt a pet or to participate in the Summer Reading Program."

 

The library is located at 80 Union Street, Rockland, Maine 04841.
