CAMDEN, ME, October 26, 2022 – Press Release – The Bay View Collection is excited to announce three new partnerships with local charitable organizations for an opportunity to give back and show thanks as part of the company’s annual “Great Rates for a Great Cause” giving campaigns available at each of their three Camden boutique hotels.  This year, the Bay View Collection has selected “Finding Our Voices” (partnered with Grand Harbor Inn),  “NAMI Maine” (partnered with 16 Bay View) and “PAWS” (partnered with Lord Camden Inn).

Donations for our “Great Rates for a Great Cause” campaign are generated through an amazing discounted offer at each of our hotels. Guests who choose to participate receive a 50% discount off their two or more-night stay (in select rooms and suites), and in exchange for this significantly discounted room rate, guests make a minimum donation of $40/night towards the charitable organization.  This offer begins November 1st and continues through April 30th, 2023.

Finding Our Voices is a grassroots, survivor-powered local non-profit breaking the silence, stigma, and cycle of domestic abuse through bold outreach, and direct support to get, and keep, women and children safe in their homes. Founded by local photo-journalist and human rights advocate, Patrisha McLean, Finding Our Voices educates the community about the domestic abuse all around us with bold survivor-powered campaigns, and empowers Maine women who are trapped in it to get out and stay out, and get and keep their children safe as well. PAWS is a local animal adoption center whose mission is to provide care for homeless dogs and cats until they can be placed in permanent, responsible homes while promoting humane values in our community through outreach and educational programs. PAWS offers community wellness clinics, spay & neuter services, financial assistance and a pet food pantry for residents of Knox and Waldo County who reside in one of the towns we serve and are in need of a little extra help, and an owner surrender program for those who are no longer able to care for their pets.
