Letter to the editor: Thanks for supporting ‘Two Great Bands, One Great Night’

Tue, 05/19/2015 - 10:15am

Much like when a family opens the door to invite their home visitor in, the Teen and Young Parent Program opened the doors to the beautiful Elks Lodge in Rockland on April 10 to welcome our generous supporters, who were greeted by the sights and sounds of Just Teachers and Creatures of Habit. This event was an engaging and worthwhile night filled with dancing and good times with friends.

We have many contributors to thank including: Creatures of Habit, Just Teachers, the Rockland Elks Lodge, Trina Johnson at KDK Printing & Embroidery in Thomaston, Laurie Tracy at The Flower Goddess in Thomaston, Shaw's in Rockland, and Walmart in Thomaston. We wish to thank the following event sponsors: Dave's Detail, Jensen's Pharmacy, Luke's Seafood, Sidecountry Sports, Sweet Pea's Family Consignment, Schooner Bay Taxi, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Brooks Trap Mill, Cates Real Estate and Duncklee & Nott.

We'd love for you to check us out on Facebook. Be sure to look for information about our upcoming fundraiser with Rock Coast Rollers on Saturday, June 13.
