ROCKLAND — Darlene L. (Kroll) Borkowski, 55, succumbed to her long battle with cancer on May 2, 2015, with the same dignity and grace as she led her life.

Born in Springville, N.Y., she married there in 1986 and moved to Rockland in 1995.

She is survived by her husband Donald V.; and their children, Stephen D., Briana L., Kimberly A. and Travis C.; her parents, Gerald H. and Shirley L. Kroll; three brothers; one sister; and countless other friends and relatives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rockland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Center for Sarcoma Oncology, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215-5450.
