BELFAST — Loretta (Goguen) Michals passed away April 6, 2015.

Loretta will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. A private service with the family will be held at a later date.

Loretta was born Jan. 25, 1930, to Arthur and Irene Desharnais in Boston, Mass. She enjoyed reading, watching Grey's Anatomy, and most of all she loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Arthur; her estranged husbands, Albert Goguen and Peter Michals; her sister, Janet Scanlon; her brother, Paul Desharnais; two sons, Patrick Goguen and William Goguen; and two daughters, Doreen Goguen, and Denise Kierstad.

Loretta is survived by her three brothers, Armand, James and Robert; one sister, Theresa Magwood; her sons, Gerald Goguen, Albert Goguen Jr., Michael Goguen and Mark Goguen; her daughter, Diane Woods; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home.
