    ROCKLAND — Dorothy O. Spear, 91, longtime Rockland resident, wife of Captain Richard Spear and mother of Linda Spear Batstone and her husband, Fred, passed away peacefully Feb. 15, 2015.

    Funeral services will be private.

    Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
