ROCKLAND — George M. Myers Sr., 83, died unexpectedly Jan. 3, 2015, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. A full obituary will be published.
A memorial gathering with military honors will be announced this summer.
Because of George's lifelong compassion to stray animals, donations are suggested to Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
