WALDOBORO — Medomak Valley High School held its 46th commencement ceremony Wednesday evening, graduating 108 students before a crowded audience of family, friends, teachers and school administrators.
The 2014 class motto is "There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind," – C.S. Lewis.
The MVHS band performed the processional and recessional, with Halie Drew Haskins singing the national anthem, followed by a musical selection "100 Years," when Haskins was joined by John Ondrasik.
Senior Class President Ashton Mae Harvey opened the evening's event . She was followed by this year's salutatory address, given by Cyril Frederick Miller, and the valedictory address, given by Brooke Benedict.
