BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity March 13-27.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

March 13

Luis Merillo, 30, was issued summonses for speeding 65 mph in a 50 mph zone and operating after suspension on Route 220 in Montville.

March 17

Steven Carr, 25, of Belfast, was arrested for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating a condition of release on Smart Road in Belfast. 

March 21

Scott Wiseman, 28, of Swanville, was arrested for operating after revocation on Swan Lake Ave. in Belfast.
