“Adventures in the Faroe Islands” with Marci Richardson during Come Boating series
BELFAST — Come Boating! Winter Adventure Series continues Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m., with “Adventures in the Faroe Islands” with Marci Richardson.
Marci Richardson, a Come Boating member and owner and Elegant Ewe Travel, will share her travel experiences and upcoming journey to the Faroe Islands, a self-governing archipelago of the Kingdom of Denmark located in the North Atlantic between Iceland and Norway, known for its stunning landscapes and rich Norse history, popular with hikers and bird watchers and especially fiber enthusiasts.
"Visiting the Faroe Islands is truly an unforgettable journey off the beaten path," said Belfast Free Library, in a news release.
The Winter Adventure Series is a collaboration between Belfast’s Community Boating Organization and the Belfast Free Library.
