BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Jan. 17-23.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Jan. 12

Joshua D. Bither, 33, of Hiram, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Reynolds Road in Brooks. 

Jan. 14

Leslie Mejia, 26, of Bar Harbor, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Bangor Road in Troy.
