SEARSPORT — Santa is coming to Searsport this weekend.

He is going to be riding around, escorted by the Searsport Fire Department on December 19 starting at 11 a.m.

The escort fire truck will be on every road with lights and siren on.

They will start on the East side of town on Route 1 and side roads. Then the West and next up Mt Ephraim Road and North Searsport Roads.

Lastly, they will cross Old County Road and do Brock Road, Back Searsport Road and Prospect Street.

Also of note, Christmas trees are welcome at the Transfer Station after the holidays at no charge.
