Run for Fun or Race to Place...join us in June for Thomaston Trek!
This annual fundraiser is a chance to do something together to support the young people in our community, in a way that’s convenient for everyone. The race begins June 1st and runs all month long. Because it’s virtual, participants can run or walk on their own time and on any route they choose (that’s safe and socially distant). Then post your time to the race website.
Awards given to individuals and teams who post the fastest times, submit pictures of incredible routes, most outrageous outfits, or raise the most. The event kicks off with a whistle-blow start on Facebook and we’ll celebrate weekly winners, capping off the event with a virtual celebration!

The entry fee of $25 (plus the $2.50 registration fee) goes directly to supporting Trekkers, which provides (virtual or live) programming to middle and high school students from Rockland, Thomaston, South Thomaston, Cushing, St. George, and Owls Head. It’s also a student fundraiser - students can raise money towards next year’s dues (which pay for things like activities throughout the year and travel expenses).
