Camden Hills alpine skiers excel during two day KVAC championship series




























































RUMFORD and FARMINGTON — The Camden Hills alpine ski team hit the road Wednesday, Feb. 5 to Rumford and Saturday, Feb. 8 to Farmington to compete in a pair of events for the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference ski championships.
Below are how the Windjammers fared on both days of the KVAC championships.
Day One — Feb. 5
The first day of KVAC championships was a giant slalom event Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Black Mountain in Rumford.
As a team, the Windjammers finished eighth with 672 points in the girls division and finished fourth with 752 points in the boys division.
