AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference varsity girls cross country championships were held Saturday, Oct. 19 at Cony High School in Augusta. 

Among the teams participating were Bangor, Brewer, Camden Hills, Mount Blue, Edward Little, Mount Ararat, Hampden Academy, Brunswick, Messalonskee, Oxford Hills, Cony, Skowhegan, Lewiston, Medomak Valley, Belfast, Winslow, Waterville, Maranacook, Gardiner, Lawrence, Morse, Leavitt, Nokomis and Lincoln Academy. 

In Class A, the Camden Hills girls team secured first place with a total time of 1:48:44.70, 

In Class B, the Medomak Valley girls team secured first place with a total time of 1:57:03.20.
