The following was sent by West Bay Rotary Club: West Bay Rotary remains committed to ensuring the safety of our members and our community during these trying times.  Our weekly meetings and all service projects have been cancelled for at least the next eight weeks, through May 15.

Our board made the decision yesterday to postpone our next two fundraising events – eWaste+ and The Duck Derby.  Our eWaste+ event provides a great service to the community and for the environment.  The Duck Derby brings the community together for a fun event and gives people a chance to win some fabulous prizes.  Most importantly, these are very important fundraising events for us because they help us raise thousands of dollars to give back to the community.  We will do our best to reschedule both events when it is safe to do so. 

Through email and online, we are working with other local Rotary clubs to formulate a plan to help our community in this time of need.  Please continue to follow us on our website or Facebook for more information as we continue to collaborate with these other clubs.
