Watts Hall holds volunteer interest get-together, May 14

Event has passed

THOMASTON — Watts Hall has been hopping this year, and the public is invited to be part of the fun. Watts Hall Community Arts invites anyone interested in volunteering at upcoming events to gather Sunday, May 14, at 1 p.m., at the downtown venue, 174 Main St., for a Spring Volunteer Interest Meeting.

Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes tour of Watts Hall, learn about available volunteer opportunities, and receive a crash-course in how to use SignUpGenius. Light refreshments will be served.

“The time commitment for volunteers is relatively light, and it's a great way to meet folks in the community,” said Watts Hall Community Arts, in a news release. “And, yes, volunteers get to see shows for free.”

Anyone with questions or interested in volunteering but can't make the meeting is invited to send an email to Managing Director Kendray Rodriguez at wattshallcommunityarts@gmail.com.

Watts Hall Community Arts is the nonprofit tasked by the Town of Thomaston, Maine, to manage and promote use of the second floor of the historic downtown Watts Hall.
