    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Sept. 10-20. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Sept. 10

    Billie L. Richards, 40, of Winslow, was arrested for operating under the influence on Troy Road in Bangor.

    Deputy Mariza N. Gionfriddo responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Bangor Road in Troy where a northbound operator went off the road to the right. The vehicle, a 2012 Honda, struck a telephone pole before re-entering the roadway and coming to a stop blocking both lanes of travel. The driver of the vehicle reportedly told Gionfriddo that they had fallen asleep, though after further testing she was arrested and charged with operating under the influence. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Sept. 11

    Michelle M. Martin, 31, of Waldo, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Waterville Road in Waldo.

    Sept. 12

    Jonathan Lewis, 35, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating after habitual offender revocation on Acadia Highway in Montville.

    Sept. 13

    Amy Hewett, 26, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Shore Road in Northport.

    Sept. 15

    Alan I. Woodruff, 82, of Searsmont, was issued summonses for operating after habitual offender revocation and violating conditions of release on Searsmont Road in Lincolnville.

    Sept. 16

    Brian Pendleton, 22, of South China, was issued summonses for failure to have insurance and an inspection sticker violation on Route 137 in Knox.

    Sept. 17

    Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a deer v. vehicle accident on Veterans Highway in Brooks. The operator was uninjured and the vehicle sustained functional damage.
