    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Aug. 14-21. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Aug. 5 (late entry)

    Alec Reynolds, 39, of Troy, was issued a summons for assault on Unity Road in Thorndike.

    Aug. 14

    Tyler Michaels, 21, of Corinth, was issued a summons for speeding 74 mph in a 45 mph zone on Fort Knox Road in Prospect. 

    Aug. 15

    Paul M. Lawrence, 47, of Brooks, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Hall Hill Road in Brooks. 

    Aug. 18

    Michael C. Stone, 27, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons for speeding 79 mph in a 50 mph zone on Route 220 in Montville. 

    James M. Thomas, 71, of Camden, was issued summonses for eluding an officer and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon on Route 1 in Northport. 

    Aug. 19

    Benjamin F. Payne, 33, of Hampden, was issued a summons for speeding 79 mph in a 50 mph zone on Bangor Road in Prospect. 

    William Peebles, 44, of Palermo, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Hostile Valley Road in Palermo. 

    Aug. 21

    Kyle F. Ayer, 30, of Newport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Route 131 in Morrill.
