Waldo County closed cases

    BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court March 9-15. 

    Cheryl Briggs, 56, of Belfast, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Belfast May 21, 2021, eight years in prison with all but one year suspended, three years of probation, and $400 fine; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Belfast Oct. 5, 2021, 30 days in jail and $400 fine; illegal possession of a firearm in Belfast Oct. 5, 2021, 30 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Belfast Oct. 5, 2021, 30 days in jail. 

    William M. Pentland, 46, of St. Louis, Missouri, violating a protection from abuse order in Belfast Nov. 17, 2021, dismissed. 

    Angel Hunt, 51, of Palermo, violating a protection from abuse order in Palermo Oct. 7, 2021, dismissed; illegal possession of a firearm in Palermo Oct. 7, 2021, dismissed. 

    Kote R. Aldus, 31, of Belfast, aggravated assault in Waldo Jan. 9, five years in prison with all but nine months suspended and two years of probation.

    Merlon Lewis, 49, of Jackson, violating a condition of release in Jackson June 20, dismissed; driving to endanger in Jackson June 20, dismissed. 

    Deanna Lenfest, 43, of Unity, assault in Unity Aug. 3, $700 fine.

    Daniel Pelletier, 62, of Freeport, failing to extinguish a fire in Stockton Springs Sept. 11, dismissed. 

    Gregory L. Libby, 32, of Belfast, failing to stop for an officer in Montville Jan. 3, seven days in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked in Montville Jan. 3, seven days in jail, license suspended for one year, and $600 fine; attaching false plates in Montville Jan. 3, dismissed.

    Stephen Larrabee II, 49, of Brooks, violating a condition of release in Belfast Jan. 9, 30 days in jail.
