UNION — Beginning July 18, Clarry Hill Road will be closed to through traffic 24/7 until completion. The Town of Union will be upgrading the culvert at the bottom of the hill to prevent the annual and sometimes semi-annual washouts.

The road could be closed for up to three weeks, according to the Town, in a news release.

“It will be a big inconvenience during that time and we are sorry for this but it is unavoidable,” said the Town. “We will keep you posted as to the progress on the road and if we get lucky we will be able to open a few days earlier.”
