ROCKLAND — Trekkers will host its annual Community Auction on Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Rockland Elks Club. The event will include a silent auction with a “Buy Now” sale as well as a live auction at the end. Each item purchased at the auction will support families fundraising to support their dues.

Dues help fund a student’s participation in the program and include mentoring and experiential learning opportunities – like outdoor recreation, travel, cultural experiences, environmental education, and post-secondary exploration activities. All proceeds support Trekkers and Trekkers families.

Up for bid and sale are items like jewelry, crafts, restaurant and hotel gift certificates, and items and services donated by local businesses and supporters. The annual pie sale, all home-baked by families and volunteers, is a perennial favorite! All are welcome to attend, and entry is free.

4PM – 5PM Live Auction (hosted by Bruce Gamage of Gamage Antiques)

As the date approaches, Trekkers will release a full catalog to preview ahead of time. Can’t make the Live Auction? Bidders will be able to submit an online absentee bidding form, and Trekkers will bid on their behalf. RSVP on Facebook for updates and reminders about the event.
