Thomaston Fall Festival celebrates the season, Nov. 5

THOMASTON —  Thomaston Fall Festival will celebrate the season Nov. 5.

Sunday events will take place at the Thomaston Municipal Building, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. More than 20 local vendors will sell their goods. Vertical Entertainment will be bringing in inflatables for the kids, games, dunk tank, 140' obstacle course, rock wall, bungee jump, cotton candy, and more. The Chili Cook-Off is from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.; a Pie Eating Contest, sponsored by Hot Hill Tavern, is at 2:30 p.m. The live band will be PHOG. Free hayrides will be offered for most of the day as well.

“The Thomaston Recreation Department is very excited to be bringing this big event to Thomaston, and we hope to continue bringing more community focused events in the future,” said Rec Director Jared Porter, in a news release.

This fundraiser will be used towards future projects such as a new playground and ice skating rink.

“None of this is possible without the dedication of the Thomaston Fall Festival Committee and their tireless work they've put into making this event a success,” said Porter.
