CAMDEN — A 12-year-old boy was unconscious for several minutes this afternoon, Dec. 6, after falling off his skateboard onto the paved pathway at Harbor Park in Camden.

The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. when a call was made to Knox County Communications Center that the boy had been rendered unconscious after hitting his head on the pavement.

North East Mobile Health Services, Camden firefighters and Camden police responded, and as they arrived, the boy regained consciousness. 

He was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center.

He was not wearing a helmet, according to the emergency crew.
