BANGOR — The Searsport girls basketball team will participate in the second annual Maine Basketball Hall of Fame Classic being held Friday, Dec. 27 and Saturday, Dec. 28. 

The event includes 16 countable varsity basketball games played at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor with eight games held Friday and eight held Saturday.  

The Searsport girls will challenge Central on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Vikings’ lone game during the event.
