FRIENDSHIP — Salt Pond Studio is hosting a 4 session intensive workshop with featured artist Bjorn Runquist entitled “Composition, Value, and Color”. The workshop will consist of four sessions and will meet on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from March 1 through 22.

The course includes daily demos to increase understanding of the principles of composition, value, and color through observation and application. Students will apply these principles by working from still life, landscape photos, and en plein air, weather permitting.

The course includes daily demos by Runquist, instruction at the easel, and in-studio and at home critiques of work. The class is open to artists of all levels and chosen mediums, although Runquist will be doing demos in his chosen medium, oils.
