BELFAST — Rose Marie Pendleton Fletcher, 64 passed at her home in Belfast on February 19, 2018. She was born in Camden, Maine on July 24, 1953 and was the daughter of Sidney "Sonny" and Lydia Pendleton.

She leaves behind her husband Robert Fletcher, son Jason and his wife Morgan, special friend Madison, sister Linda Thomas, brothers Ray, Eric and James Pendleton, nieces Mary Tripp and Lacy Hall as well as several others. She was predeceased by father, mother, sister Mary, brother Lyman and several aunts and uncles.

Rose was known and loved by many. She served in the U.S. Army as a private trained to be a medic and was also an Eastern Star of Isleboro. She had a tremendous sense of humor and gained great pleasure by making others smile. She was an entrepreneur from a very young age and over her life had several businesses. Rose was strong, resilient, determined, sharp and kind. Her contagious laugh, selflessness and hunger for life will be missed, but never forgotten.

At her request, no service will be held. But instead, she requested people donate to the Good Shepherd Food Bank. As she would say love one another and always keep it simple. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.ripostafh.com.
