ROCKLAND — After thirty years of practicing dentistry in Rockland, David Theriault, DMD, retired on October 30, 2019.

Theriault has sold his dental practice to Chandni Mahajan, DDS.

After graduating from dental school in 2014, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mahajan moved to Houston, Texas where she practiced dentistry in a community health center and a family dental practice for five years. Her search for a simpler lifestyle, love of nature, art and a yearning for community living brought her to Maine, according to Theriault’s office, in a news release.

Mahajan has most recently been practicing in Lincolnville filling in for Dr. Kristine Landry.

“I feel confident that Dr. Mahajan will provide the care and skills necessary for my patients to maintain their oral health,” said Theriault, in the release. “It has been a privilege and an honor to have been your dentist for the past thirty years. I will miss you all as I move on to this next chapter of my life.”
