CAMDEN – All the eyes of the tobogganing world are turned to the Camden Snow Bowl this weekend as the 27th annual U.S. Toboggan Nationals take off like a rocket down the chute. There’s plenty of ice this year, and the word on the street is that it is fast.

Three hundred and fifty teams have registered for the start of competition that kicks off Saturday morning.

Friday morning lent an air of anticipation at the Snow Bowl as tracked vehicles ran back and forth. The officials’ tent was a hum of activity, lines and electrical cords were strung, and vendors readied their booths for the weekend food sales.

CNN Courageous is making branded content for National Car Rental by following national photographer Sol Neelman who is documenting the sport of downhill toboggan racing.

Courageous was launched by CNN in 2015. It produces news-like content on behalf of advertisers. CNN is owned by Time Warner Inc.'s Turner Broadcasting. The division fashions and distributes branded content across CNN.

Neelman is working on a book series called Weird Sports (https://www.amazon.com/Weird-Sports-Mike-Davis/dp/386828219X) 1 & 2. The third book will carry the distinctive title of Weird Sports 3.

It will be weekend of music, colorful costumes and serious down the chute toboggan racing.
