Portion of Bog Road closed after car hits utility pole

ROCKLAND — Central Maine Power worked to replace utility poles and their electrical wires along a stretch of Bog Road, in Rockland, Sunday morning, July 14.
After 8 a.m., a car left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole, sending the pole into the road and pulling down connecting wires. The single occupant of the car declined transport to the hospital.
Firefighters and police also tended to the incident, which occurred just north of 161 Bog Road.
Camden Exxon has been tasked with hauling away the vehicle.
