Paul Prescott, obituary
LINCOLNVILLE — Paul Prescott, 75, passed away on October 10, 2024 in his Lincolnville home. Paul was born in Camden on February 10, 1949, and was the son of George and Helen Prescott. He was a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono.
Paul was a quiet and kind soul who cared about his community; always prepared to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He worked at the Village Restaurant from a young age, eventually taking over the family business and working there until his retirement in 2013.
A lover of sports, Paul was an avid New York Giants, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Mets fan. Paul was also actively involved in youth sports, specifically hockey, in which his son and stepson participated—never missing a single game.
Paul was a dedicated husband, a loving father, and a caring brother.
Paul is survived by his wife, Jolanta; his son, Matthew and partner Xara; his stepson, Bernie, wife Ana, and their son Leon; his sister, Barbara; and his cousin Cathy.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 4 - 6 p.m., at the Long Funeral Home, 9 Mountain Street, Camden.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 2 p.m., at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Camden.
