TOPSHAM — The Medomak Valley High School wrestling team traveled to Mt. Ararat High School to face the Eagles, Belfast, Oxford Hills and MCI. Wrestlers from Brunswick and Edward Little were independents. Medomak beat Oxford Hills 34-33, and lost on a tie breaker 30-30 to MCI. Mount Ararat beat the Panthers 48-30, and Belfast defeated Medomak, 60-24. With last Wednesday’s results (see below), the Panthers are now 9-9 on the season.

Wednesday, Jan. 8, the Medomak wrestlers faced off against Gardiner and Nokomis , beating Gardiner 42-36 and losing to Nokomis by the same score of 42-36.
