Owls Head Transportation Museum turns into STEM Hub for communities, April 27

OWLS HEAD — Owls Head Transportation Museum opens to the public, free of charge, for the second day of STEM Fest, Saturday, April 27. The event runs 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., doors close at 4 p.m.

The museum is open to the public and visitors can enjoy the festival free of cost. This is an opportunity for youth to try their hand at a variety of STEM-based programming, find inspiration and speak with professionals from a variety of fields.

Participants include Maine Maritime Academy, University of Maine, Nomad Motors, and the Maine Discovery Museum.

“Don’t miss a Bath Iron Works virtual reality training trailer or build a stethoscope with the Girls Scout of Maine,” said OHTM, in a news release.

DAY 1 of the event, Friday, April 26, is closed to general public to allow for Special School Field Trip Day.
