The State Fire Marshal's Office says one man is dead following a house fire early Sunday morning along Three Mile Pond in the town of China.  The man's body was found by firefighters outside the house after they responded shortly after 1 a.m., according to a news release from the Maine Dept. of Public Safety.  The single family house off Mayflower Lane was destroyed in the blaze, which was discovered by a plow truck operator. A team of four fire marshal investigators have been at the scene attempting to determine how the fire started. The name of the victim is being withheld as relatives are notified.
