ROCKLAND — Valentine’s Day is coming and New Hope for Women is ready with a raffle basket containing items that everyone can enjoy, according to New Hope, in a news release. The basket is on display at Rock City Café, in Rockland, from January 12 – February 12, when the winner will be drawn.

New Hope is committed to supporting victims of domestic violence, dating violence and stalking while providing education and prevention services to assist their communities in creating a safer and healthier future. 

Basket items include gift cards to Clan MacLaren, Sea Dog Brewing Company and Tomi Sushi and Noodle Bar, as well as products from Rising Tide Co-op, tickets to Strand Theatre, beauty products, a jewelry box, and more.

Tickets are one for $3 or two for $5 and can be purchased at Rock City Café only.

The plan is to have raffle baskets on a regular basis in each of the four counties in New Hope for Women’s catchment area. This includes Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo counties.
