Neta Cokinis Robbins, obituary
ROCKLAND – Neta Cokinis Robbins, 87, wife of the late Robert Robbins, died peacefully Dec. 19, 2014, at Knox Center for Long Term Care.
Born in Rockland on Nov. 13, 1947, she was the daughter of Andonis “Tony” and Madelyn Quill Cokinis. She was educated locally.
For many years Mrs. Robbins was employed as a clerk at J.J. Newberry's. As a young woman she was active in St. Peter's Episcopal Church and enjoyed playing beano.
Most recently she has resided at the Knox Center for Long Term Care, where she graced everyone with her beautiful smile, warm heart and cheerful personality.
Mrs. Robbins was predeceased by her husband; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Cokinis. She is survived by her brother, Nicholas Cokinis of Camden; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 1 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home. Interment at Ocean View Cemetery in South Thomaston will be held in the spring.
