Nativity Lutheran Church hosts Harvest Festival and Tag Sale, Oct. 19
Nativity Lutheran Church’s annual Harvest Festival and Tag Sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the church, 179 Old County Rd., in Rockport.
Tag sale items in the basement of the church include household goods, glassware and dishes, furniture, tools, sporting goods, children’s items, books, paintings, and more. All items in the basement of the church will be sold at half price during the last half hour of the day (12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.)
Upstairs in the church, shoppers can find unique silent auction items. Of special note in the silent auction will be Warwick China, and Artwork by local artists. In the Fellowship Hall, there will be a Boutique featuring items of jewelry, perfumes, scarves and handbags. Shoppers can also purchase baked goods and crafts.
A Harvest Festival Cafe will run throughout the day, serving breakfast sandwiches and pancakes in the morning and soup and sandwiches for lunch.
All proceeds from the day’s sales will be shared with Homeworthy (formerly known as KCHC) and the ministries of Nativity Lutheran Church. Homeworthy assists individuals, families and youth who are experiencing homelessness in the Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties.
