MSAD 28 Board of Directors to discuss goals, televised meetings, hear committee reports
ROCKPORT— The MSAD 28 Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the atrium of the Camden-Rockport Elementary School. The board will preside over a full agenda. School board business set for Wednesday’s agenda includes updates on a variety of matters, discussion about policies, board goals, and the possibility of livesteaming future meetings. The meeting is open to the public.
The ad-hoc Camden-Rockport Middle School Building Committee will deliver a report from their September 13 meeting, and the school board will nominate a delegate to attend the Maine School Management Association conference in late October. Job descriptions for a Director of Psychological Services and an Intervention Coordinator will also be discussed.
Standing committees on personnel, policy, curriculum, and finance will present reports; as will Superintendent Maria Libby, and MSAD 28 School Board Chair, Matthew Dailey. Additional key administrators will present reports as well.
It is stated on the agenda that the board may elect to enter into executive session to discuss the seventh item on their agenda, “nominations,” pursuant to 1 MRSA § 405(6)A).
