ROCKLAND — The holiday movie classic Miracle on 34th Street (1947) will be presented as a Free Holiday Movie at the Strand Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m.
The holiday season is in full swing when an older gentleman is hired as a department store Santa Claus. He claims his name is Kris Kringle, and soon fills everyone with Christmas spirit – except his boss, Doris Walker. When Kris is declared insane and put on trial, everyone’s faith is put to the test as old and young alike face the age-old question: Do you believe in Santa Claus?
The winner of three Academy awards, the film was directed by George Seato and stars Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara, and John Payne.

Miracle on 34th Street has a running time of 1 hour 36 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show time.
