Midcoast Housing for All Fair to take place in Rockport, March 29
ROCKPORT — The Midcoast Housing for All Fair will be held Saturday, March 29, from 3 - 6 p.m., at Pascal Hall in Rockport.
The fair will focus on addressing the growing need for affordable, sustainable housing in Midcoast Maine, and will feature local businesses and organizations that build, finance, design, and expand housing solutions.
Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) will be highlighted as a key strategy to increase housing availability quickly and affordably.
A panel of community leaders will discuss ways to make housing and the trades more accessible to local workers, enhance community resilience, and explore innovative models to increase housing supply. Local residents, housing experts, and leaders will come together to share ideas and solutions for a future where everyone has access to affordable housing in our community.
Panelists include Liz Trice from BackyardADUs, local developer Caleb Lincoln, Kate Hambley of Landform Law, and Molly Feeny from Homeworthy.
This event is hosted by the Midcoast Villager, Homeworthy, and the Midcoast Climate, Energy, and Green Building Happy Hour.
