Midcoast Habitat for Humanity holiday donation match campaign
Midcoast Habitat for Humanity has announced a 1-to-1 matching donation campaign for the holiday season, offering donors the opportunity to double their contributions.
An anonymous supporter has pledged to match all donations up to $1,000 as part of the campaign, which runs through the holiday season, ending January 1.
Donations made through Midcoast Habitat's website: https://midcoasthabitat.org/donation-form/ will directly support Midcoast Habitat for Humanity's efforts to build affordable housing in Knox County.
"This match challenge by a wonderful volunteer and supporter means so much to us. It's a great time to give and double your donation," said Tia Anderson, Midcoast Habitat Executive Director, in a news release.
To date, Midcoast Habitat has supported 71 families and built 65 homes in Knox County. Recent projects include Talbot Avenue/Firefly Field and Philbrick Commons in Rockland, with future builds planned in Rockport and Thomaston. Programs like home repair, weatherization, and aging-in-place support, along with the ReStore, advance our mission while promoting sustainability.
"Every dollar we raise helps continue our efforts building and sustaining affordable housing for local families," said Anderson.
This campaign is part of Habitat's annual appeal and fosters further community engagement.
