THOMASTON — Max C. Wicker, 93, went home to our Lord on August 16, 2024. He died peacefully in his sleep.

Max was born in Americas, Kansas, and lived in Texas, New Mexico, California, Arkansas, before spending the last 11 years in Camden and Thomaston. He was employed by the Sante Fe Railroad where he retired.

He was loved by his, wife, Marlene; his children, Dana Wicker, Damon Wicker, Patrice Tait, Pennie Imus, Mark Bailey, Bill Bailey, and Karen McCafferty; as well as 32 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
