Mary Ann Davis, 94, a life-long resident of Port Clyde died January 10, 2018 at Windward Gardens in Camden. She was born April 26, 1923 in St. George to Norman Barter and Harriett Teel Barter. She grew up in St. George and attended local schools. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Port Clyde Advent Christian Church for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, shopping, camping, traveling to Florida for the winter, hooking and braiding rugs, and spending time with her beloved family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Davis; son, Craig Davis; sisters, Kathleen Anderson and Pauline Small; brothers, Kenneth Barter and Roger Barter; daughter-in-law, Gloria Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Davis Golden and her husband John of North Whitefield

Sons, Melvin Davis of Tenants Harbor

Gary Davis and his wife Maggie of Port Clyde

Fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and thirty-one great grandchildren.

Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by a service to celebrate Mary Ann's life at 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 18th at the Tenants Harbor Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Hickey officiating. Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery in Tenants Harbor in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary Ann's memory may be made to the Tenants Harbor Baptis Church, c/o Steeple Fund, P.O.
