Linda Miller, obituary
WALDOBORO — Linda Lee (Wellman) Miller, 60, died Dec. 26, 2014, at her home in Waldoboro after a long illness in the care of her loving family. She was born May 9, 1954, in Waldoboro, to Russell and Grace Nash Wellman.
Linda grew up in Waldoboro and attended Medomak Valley High School.
She worked in the seafood trade for many years shucking clams. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was a free spirit and very giving to family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Russell D. Wellman.
She is survived by her mother, Grace Wellman and her companion, Ted Sherman, of Waldoboro; her sons, Otto Miller III and his companion, Phoebe Boyington, of Waldoboro, and John Miller and his companion, Katie Harjula, of China; her brothers, Robert Wellman and his wife, Shirlene, of Norridgewock, Bruce Wellman of Texas, Dana Wellman and his wife, Christine, of Turner, and Larry Wellman and his wife, Kim, of Waldoboro; her sisters, Nancy Carter and her husband, Raymond, of Waldoboro, Karen Wellman and her fiancé, Henry Schmidt, of Waldoboro, and Diana Winchenbach and her husband, Tom, of Friendship; her grandchildren, Jennica, Cassandra, Kallee, Gage and Gavin; her great-granddaughter, Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate Linda's life will be held Friday, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery on Route 32 in Waldoboro. The Rev. Tom Rawley will officiate.
